Bovington Camp	3 Jun		The Regiment (less B Echelon, which left 28/29 May) evacuated from France by Dunkirk at dawn on 2 June and on the following day. Small parties were received in divers areas and eventually received orders to report to 52 Heavy Training Regiment, Bovington Camp, where they were attached for rations and accommodation.
			Whilst it is difficult to estimate our battle casualties at the moment, two officers (Lt M Maude and 2Lt Usher) are missing believed killed and one officer (2Lt W A T Turner) is wounded but safely in this country. Lt V Beaufort, who was attached to HQ 2 Armd Recce Bde has also been killed.
	15 Jun		The Regiment, still without equipment, moves to billets in Rawmarsh, near Rotherham, Yorks, as part of 3 Motor Machine-Gun Bde.
