This page documents where the Royal Army Medical Corps unit of 7th Armoured Division were located in the UK prior to embarking for the Normandy Landings

Notes:

[1] Bing Maps is the new name of Microsoft Local Live. When using the system remove the Welcome box by clicking on the < to the left of the map. You can reposition the map by dragging it and change to an aerial view or hybrid and zoom in and out using the tools in the "2D 3 D box". To go to the clearest view place your mouse of the icon and select Zoom To: Street. For Aerial views click on Aerial and then select Aerial or Birds Eye, depending upon the location of the site. To view from different angles use the Birds Eye function and the options on the vertical part of tool bar to rotate the picture. It is recommended that the 3D option is not used with these locations. Under the Road menu an Ordnance Survey Map option is available which may contain which may also be of interest.

[4] By using Wartime RAF Maps of the area, Grid Ref 3728 has been identified as being Northwest of West Bradenham and contains Bradenham Hall. It is therefore most likely the unit was stationed in or around the Hall
